An Introduction to the Interior Design Trends of 2022

My first blog post of the year and I would like to start this year by sharing some of my favourite interior design trends with you. I'm sure you stumbled across at least a few of them, but hope I was able to introduce you to some new trends for 2022.

1. Multifunctional

Open spaces keep being a trend in 2022. I especially like this trend a lot because of all the light that can flood through your space and the social interacting.

2. 70s Boho Chic

This trend warms my heart thinking of all the fun elements that can be incorporated into the design. It's playful and tasteful at the same time and brings joy into every space.

3. Disco Glam

The retro come back is another fun interior trend that had to join this list. Many interior designers incorporate the classic mirror disc ball into their work but, if you don't want to go that far, why not combine some metals with cozy velvety furnishings?

4. Jungle Green

Another ongoing trend that allows you to go crazy because you definitely can't add to much greenery. Some would say 'the more, the better', but it's easily adjusted to your liking, which makes it suitable for anyone.

5. Monochromatic

A sublime and minimalistic trend which sets the mood for your interior. This trend can make your home feel like a cozy hug.

6. Organic textures

You can easily add some personality into your home by adding organic textures. It feels homely and outdoorsy at the same time and those textures are a pleasure to live in.

7. Pastel tones

Introduce spring season into a our spaces by adding pastel colours. This could be done monochromatic or combining different pastel colours for the ultimate cotton candy look.

8. Urban Wellness

As much as wellness bathrooms have become a major trend, post Covid-homes even include concrete pools and mini oases. Those luxurious sanctuaries make holidays in your home very appealing.
